Young PSV drew 0-0 against Young RKC Waalwijk on Thursday night. First team players Gerald Sibon, Robert de Pinho de Souza and Michael Lamey played the full 90 minutes. The players did not put up a very entertaining performance at De Herdgang training ground. The two teams could hardly create any first half chances, also because many passes were inaccurate. PSV had most possession of the ball, but could not break the deadlock. PSV, coached by Gerald Vanenburg and Ernest Faber, were also the better side in the second period, but they were unable to find the net on a drizzly night. PSV head coach Guus Hiddink, his assistant René Eijkelkamp and goalkeeping coach Joop Hiele had come to watch the game. RKC head coach Erwin Koeman was also present. Robert de Pinho de Souza was given a place in the starting line-up, just like Gerald Sibon. So Young PSV fielded a strong side, with Roberts as an agile and lithe striker, Sibon, strong in the aerial clashes and hard to dispossess and captain Sasa Stojanovic as the playmaker in the midfield. Yet Young RKC goalkeeper Matteus Hoop kept a clean sheet. Young PSV are third in their league, having collected 33 point from their nineteen games. Young Feyenoord are on top: they have 42 points from twenty games. Young PSV line-up:Muyters, De Roover, Lamey, Van Eijden, Goessens, Louwaars (46. Dufour), Kawarmala, Schirra (69. Boverhof), Stojanovic (68. Van Boekel), Robert, Sibon.
