In Holland Remembrance Day (the commemoration of the dead of the Second World War) is always celebrated on 4 May, on the eve of Liberation Day. As PSV - AC Milan is scheduled for Wednesday 4 May, the pre-match programme will be adapted. A request from PSV to reschedule the cup tie was earlier was rejected by the UEFA.A two minute silenceMeanwhile the UEFA have announced they will fully support the adapted programme. The flags will be flying at half-mast in and outside the stadium. In the programme that PSV.TV present in the stadium between 19:35 and 20:15 attention will be paid to the commemoration of the dead of the Second World War and at exactly 20:00 a two minute silence will be observed, just like elsewhere in the Netherlands.PSV would like all supporters to be in the stadium as early as 19:45, so that everybody will be able to show respect on this day that is so important for our country.Live coveragePSV will ask AC Milan to take part in the activities as well, so that both teams will be on the pitch at that moment. The crowd will be asked to observe a two minute silence. On the large screens in the stadium live coverage of the commemoration of the dead ceremonies will be shown and the music in the stadium will be in accordance with the solemn atmosphere.As from 20:30 until kick off, the usual pre-match music will be played in order to create the atmosphere fitting for this crucial clash.PSV will inform the AC Milan fans that have travelled to Holland to support their favourite team about the significance of the 4 May commemoration in Holland.
