All Dutch morning papers pay lots of attention to the semi final tie against AC Milan. The sports writers spared no expense and published previews, reports on marginal phenomena, background stories, info graphics and background analyses.Highly motivated'Eleven reasons why PSV will reach the final', is the headline of the article in the Eindhovens Dagblad above a lovely graphic that covers 70 % of the page. 'AC Milan have won everything, whereas PSV have won hardly anything. Milan will be cool and calculating; PSV will show passion and ambition. Tonight it is going to happen.'The graph portrays the players of the starting line-up. 'It will be his final big game in the Eindhoven Philips Stadium. He will be highly motivated to make it a great and moving farewell party. He is going to outclass Seedorf and score a goal', they say on PSV captain Mark van Bommel. And as to Gomes: 'He has no fear for anyone in his own stadium. The crowd can make him an even bigger star than he is. Milan know that will stand no chance when a penalty shoot out is needed to get a result'. 'Faccia l’impossible!'The Eindhovens Dagblad publishes two pages full of PSV related stories. 'Faccia l’impossible', is the text on one of the banners shown in the Philips Stadium yesterday afternoon. 'Perform a miracle!' The fans see making amends for being 2-0 down as a 'mission impossible', but they believe in it. Just like the PSV players themselves'.'PSV are relaxed in spite of a heavy test of strength', is the headline in AD Sportwereld, but they are also realistic in their approach. 'AC Milan are unlikely to be tactically outwitted once again'. The paper also publishes a large article on 'The Deportivo Miracle', referring to the shock result that Deportivo La Coruña pulled off last season by thrashing AC Milan 4-0 at home, after they had suffered a 4-1 defeat San Siro.Contagious'All or nothing', writes De Telegraaf. 'It is a big challenge, but the self confidence that the PSV players radiate is contagious. The Eindhoven team has turned over a new leaf and the time that they were looking up in awe at a formidable opponent seems to be gone.'De Volkskrant publishes a large double interview with André Ooijer and his father-in-law Willy van de Kerkhof, who replaced Ronald Koeman in the semi final clash against Real Madrid seventeen seasons ago. Just like Koeman on that night, Ooijer is serving a one-match ban tonight and Willy van de Kerkhof said that he wouldn’t mind deputizing for him tonight again!
