Gerald Sibon and his team mate Pascal Bosschaart have lost the Beach soccer tournament final on Aruba. Their opponents Ronald de Boer and Shota Arveladze, who has made a move to AZ, were the winners."I thought we were the better pair, but apparently we were just not good enough to enjoy victory", was the first reaction of Sibon. "It was the first time I took part in such a tournament. It was great fun to play beach soccer in these sunny circumstances."Phillip Cocu had been partnered with Frank de Boer and they were third in the tournament. Wilfred Bouma and André Ooijer were eliminated in the quarter finals by the team that turned out to be the winning couple. "You can’t always win, even if you are better", smiled Ooijer, who got married earlier this month.
