The PSV squad has arrived in Gwangju, in the south-west of Korea, at about half past twelve local time. The second Peace Cup group game, against Once Caldas, is scheduled for Sunday in the World Cup Stadium. 'Eternal Hero'It is an hour’s flight from Seoul to Gwangju, one of the big cities in the country. The hotel is at a 30 minute-ride from the airport. There was a lovely banner in the car park of the hotel with the text: Welcome! Mr. Guus Hiddink, Korea’s Eternal Hero & PSV Eindhoven Football Team. A similar banner with the images of Guus Hiddink and Young-Pyo Lee was inside in the hotel. The surroundings are hilly and woody and there are quite a few touristic sights. There is a golf club, an amusement park, a temple and a chair lift. TrainingThe squad had lunch on arrival. A training session is scheduled for tonight and PSV will face Once Caldas tomorrow at 19: 00 local time. The weather is more agreeable than yesterday.The PSV squad will fly back to the capital Seoul on Monday; they will play their third group game against Olympique Lyon on Wednesday.
