The PSV coaching staff have called up a nineteen-man squad for the Johan Cruijff Shield clash in the Amsterdam Arena on Friday night. Theo Lucius and Ibrahim Afellay are available again; DaMarcus Beasley and John de Jong, however, all ruled out.Press briefingFred Rutten and René Eijkelkamp took charge of the Thursday morning training session. Guus Hiddink was absent for private reasons. Rutten did the press briefing, ahead of the game against Ajax. He announced that a nineteen-man squad has been named for the trip to Amsterdam. Theo Lucius and Ibrahim Afellay are available and youngsters Ismail Aissati and Roy Beerens have also been included in the squad. Eric Addo, who has almost recovered from a foot injury, Osmar Ferreyra, who has to round off working permit formalities, DaMarcus Beasley, who is recovering well from a hamstring problem, and John de Jong, who is fighting a knee injury, are all ruled out. Prestige"I know it's a cliché, but we would like to win this trophy. And prestige is at stake: after all it’s a clash between Ajax and PSV", explained Rutten at De Herdgang training ground. "Ajax seem to have become more stable, compared to last season. Some players are absent, but they have a large squad to pick from.” Rutten said that PSV may very well opt for the tactical system in which Wilfred Bouma is played as a midfielder. But we may also change that match plan and field last season’s defence. We have obviously been experimenting during the pre-season friendlies and we think we have some options now."The PSV squad for the Johan Cruijff Shield:Goalkeepers: Gomes, ZoetebierDefenders: Alex, Bouma, Lee, Ooijer, LameyMidfielders: Afellay, Aissati, Cocu, Fehér, Lucius, Simons, VäyrynenForwards: Beerens, Farfán, Robert, Sibon, Vennegoor of Hesselink
