PSV have tied up a deal with twenty-five-year old Australian international Jason Culina (25). Culina makes a move from FC Twente and has put pen to paper on a deal that keeps him at PSV until the summer of 2009. sc HeerenveenJason Culina will undergo a medical today and he will report for duty at De Herdgang training base on Saturday morning where he will join his new team mates for training. The midfielder is eligible for the league game, away against sc Heerenveen on Sunday afternoon. "We were still negotiating late last night and eventually we have come to an agreement", said Hiddink during the weekly press briefing. "The negotiations have been rounded off to the mutual satisfaction of both parties concerned. We had targeted him for a long time, but as we are facing some long-term problems we have signed him at this stage of the season. He is a versatile player and can be played in several positions. He is a passionate player and we are glad we have strengthened out options. He was one of the key players at FC Twente."The Australian himself is delighted with the move he has made to the ruling champions and cannot wait to wear a PSV shirt for the first time. He will say goodbye to his friends in Enschede one of these days and intends to go and look for accommodation in Eindhoven, together with his wife. The happy couple got married last summer. Jason CulinaJason Culina, born in Sidney on 5 August, made a move from Sydney FC to Ajax. After having spent two seasons with the reserves, he had loan spells Germinal Beerschot and De Graafschap. He returned to Ajax in 2003, but he made only two appearances for the Amsterdam outfit. He signed a deal with FC Twente, where he progressed into a regular player. He made 32 league appearances last season, in which he netted eleven goals. He played six games for FC Twente during the current campaign and scored one goal.
