Three goalsMiami may be content with the points they have collected (a win over Toronto and a draw against Montreal), but unfortunately Romário could not break the deadlock in Montreal. The Florida based side put in a rather defensive first half performance and they hoped their experienced Brazilian strike partners Zinho-Romário would make the difference, but the forty-year-old former PSV striker was neutralized and hardly created chances. After the interval Montreal piled up the pressure, but Miami held on in front of 12,142 spectators. Miami FC have won three of their eight USL First Division; they lost two games and drew three. The next fixture is not scheduled before Friday 9 June, when Miami FC travel again to Canada to meet the Vancouver Whitecaps. Romário has scored three goals from six games this season.
