A win over FC Twente will spark familiar title celebrations, including the traditional parade through the centre of the town of Eindhoven. Tens of thousands of fans are expected to line the streets along the parade route. PSV will introduce a novelty: the parade is to be seen in 3D on Google Earth, the popular geographic internet search tool that combines local search with satellite images and maps from around the globe.
For many years, the PSV players would celebrate the championship with a victory parade in horse-drawn carriages and in old-timers, with the fans out in force to cheer their heroes. These days, the victorious team, coaching staff and officials are travelling by open carts and an open top team bus. The bus will pass many of the familiar buildings and squares in Eindhoven during this year's parade route.

PSV adds a novelty on internet. The entire parade is to be seen in 3D on Google Earth, in close co-operation with 3D Clear Earth and Brainport. The parade will pass seven buildings that are visible in 3D: the Philips Stadium, the railway station, the car park on the Mathildelaan, de Groene Toren (the Green Tower), de Vestedatoren (the Vesta Tower) the Van Abbe Museum and the town hall. So wherever you are in the world, you can now share the feeling with the fans in Eindhoven!

'This new development matches perfectly with our innovative media policy', says PSV's Marketing & Media manager Peter Kentie. 'We are proud to have introduced this awesome application, which adds value to our supporters all over the world. It also links up perfectly with the value of the town of Eindhoven, which is rightly referred to as leading in technology.'

Brainport Foundation is a close co-operation between companies, educational institutions and authorities. The aim is to strengthen Brainport's international competitive position as a 'hotspot' in the field of innovative top technology.
