Huub Stevens took charge of the final training session on Monday night, ahead of Tuesday's UEFA Champions League match against Olympique Marseille, as the players inspected the pitch in the Stade Vélodrome. Tomorrow, one player will be dropped from the provisional nineteen-man squad.
Heavy rainfall
Pics United photographers are in Marseille and took pictures of the training session. The pitch has suffered from the heavy rainfall on Sunday. On Monday the weather had settled down again but showery periods are expected for Tuesday. The players prepared for tomorrow's game, working on attacking movement, crossing and finishing, while the goalkeepers trained separately.
