On Monday afternoon, a nineteen-man squad went to the players' hotel in Oisterwijk to prepare for the final UEFA Champions League Group D match against Liverpool. Nordin Amrabat and Danny Koevermans are doubtful, while Ibrahim Afellay and Jan Kromkamp are ruled out of Tuesday's game. 'I will announce the starting line-up on Tuesday', said PSV coach Huub Stevens.
'We'll go for it'
Stevens told media representatives at the press conference at the Philips Stadium that Amrabat felt a bit sore and stiff after Saturday's game against FC Groningen. The forward, who has shaken off a groin problem, was outstanding in PSV's second half comeback with three assists. 'We will just wait and see', explained Stevens. 'We have some time left to make a decision. There are still thirty hours to go before the game kicks off.' Stevens admitted that PSV's chances of booking a place in the UEFA Cup competition are limited. 'We knew we would face a tall task. We still have a slender mathematical chance of qualifying, so we'll go for it.'

Jan Kromkamp and Ibrahim Afellay will not join their team mates for the training camp in Oisterwijk and one player will be dropped from the nineteen-man squad tomorrow. A crowd of 33500 is expected to attend the game, among whom 1600 travelling fans from Liverpool. Rafa Benitez will hold a press conference at the Philips Stadium on Monday night at 18:45CET, after which he will take charge of a training session at 19:30 CET. Media representatives will be allowed to watch the players train for fifteen minutes, before Liverpool continue training behind closed doors.
