There was a run on the advance sales of the PSV away kit round midnight. Hundreds of PSV fans had turned up and were waiting in front of the entrance of the Official PSV Fan shop at this nocturnal hour. On the stroke of twelveThe first few customers were already to be found at the Philips Stadium 31 entrance as early as about 22:00. The new away kit was going to be sold for the first time as from midnight. As a special offer it had been announced that the letters of the name of the player would be printed free of charge. A large crowd was waiting when the doors opened on the stroke of twelve. Small groups of people were admitted, so that everything was running smoothly. There was still a fairly big crowd waiting outside the shop at one o'clock. Faithful fans, children with parents, young and old: many fans would very much like to be among the first people to purchase the new away kit. A crew in the Fan shop was ready to print the names and numbers of the players on shirts of all sizes. Some 250 fans were present at midnight, but as fans were still waiting outside one hour later, it would be fait to assess that the total number was much higher.Everybody was eager to put on the new shirt during the first training session in the Eindhoven Philips Stadium on Thursday morning.
