Heurelho Gomes, who is undoubtedly one of the most cheerful and easy-accessible PSV players, wants to ask the fans for a small favour. His father died recently and that’s why his priorities lie elsewhere. The Brazilian hopes the fans will appreciate that he is not in the mood for larking about, posing for pictures or signing many autographs after the training sessions. "I am quite sure I will smile once again, but right now I am feeling very sad indeed”, said Gomes. His father died just a few days before the goalkeeper returned to Holland to take part in the first training session at De Herdgang training ground. André Ooijer told PSV.TV, on behalf of all the players, that the squad will show their support during his period of mourning.Gomes signed some autographs all the same after the Monday morning training session, but went soon inside.
