Straight after the De Graafschap game, in which PSV eased to a 4-1 win, the players were honoured on the pitch. They came onto the pitch one by one; captain Mark van Bommel was the last to come out of the dressing room. He lifted the championship shield and proudly showed it to the faithful fans.
