The three PSV new signings, Mika Väyrynen, Osmar Ferreyra and Timmy Simons, visibly enjoyed their first working day at PSV. The three of them were glad their Eindhoven adventure had finally started today. Osmar Ferreyra"The reception was wonderful, that was great. You feel you belong to a big club; everything is taken well care of and the fans received us with loud applause. I feel like playing football very much indeed, in particular now that we have been welcomed so cordially! I am quite sure I will adjust to the new circumstances soon. I will do my utmost to convince the club and technical staff that I am of added value to the squad", explained Ferreyra this afternoon. The Argentinian left footed player was asked for his opinions at interviews immediately and he was introduced to all the officials at De Herdgang training ground. One tiny little problem had to be solved, though. The trousers of his tracksuit, covered with #14, was rather large spacious, which raised many a smile! Timmy Simons"I had never expected so many fans, they seem to like it", exclaimed Timmy Simons after lunch at De Herdgang. "This has been a wonderful day so far. I couldn’t wait to start the pres-season training campaign with PSV." The Belgian had not had enough time yet to go in for house hunting yet. "I intend to start looking for a house as soon as we have come back from our South Korea trip. I hope I will have done so before the start of the new season. Simons will wear a shirt with number 6, which was the number of Mark van Bommel, the PSV captain who has moved to FC Barcelona. Mika Väyrynen"It looks great", said Mika Väyrynen at De Herdgang, in between the training session in the stadium and the customary cross country run. "They're all nice lads and good players. We were given a cordial welcome at the stadium this morning, where a great many fans had come together."The Fin enjoyed a short sunny holiday in Greece last month and paid a visit to his native country. "Now that I am in Eindhoven, I am looking for a house. I can hardly wait for the season to start." Väyrynen is also content with the number assigned to him. "Number seven is just fine; I’m quite content."
