The PSV squad has arrived safely in South Korea. The squad, technical and medical staff and officials landed at Inchon International Airport in the capital Seoul at about half past four in the afternoon, local time. Very enthusiasticThe party had left Amsterdam Airport Schiphol on Monday night at about seven o’ clock in the evening. After an intermediate landing in Paris, there was a straight flight to Korea. The time difference in Seoul, some eight thousand kilometres from Holland, is seven hours. When the necessary formalities had been accomplished at the airport and Guus Hiddink had finished his press conference, the coach with the players, escorted by many police officers, could drive to the Seoul Hyatt Hotel. Peace Cup 2005The arrival of PSV at Inchon caused a proper media circus. Obviously at times there was no way to get through for Hiddink, as the press and the crowd were very enthusiastic. Phillip Cocu also proved to be very popular with the Koreans. PSV were looked after by the Peace Cup 2005 organizers and will be assisted by a number of Peace Cup officials during the entire tournament.
