PSV coach Guus Hiddink announced at the customary pre-match press conference preceding the final training that he is happy with the way things have gone in the group stage so far, but he hastened to add that he wanted this feeling to be confirmed in the final two clashes, as all four teams still have the chance to reach the knockout stages. Hiddink stated that only a win will do for the hosts in the Arena AufSchalke. If we draw, we cash in. Sharing honours would be magic for us. We have good prospects of reaching the knock-out stages, just like in last seasons campaign. PSV will have to be cautious on Wednesday night. Schalke 04 have some players that can make the difference and they have physically strong strikers. We must be alert. Schalke are an excellent side as the other two teams in our group have already experienced. They did well at home against AC Milan, when they came back after falling behind twice. They also scored two goals against Fenerbahçe.MilanThe German press wanted to know if Hiddink had anticipated the group E proceedings. "Most football pundits thought AC Milan were the great favourites and that the any of the other three clubs could advance. But Milan have had some problems, here in Gelsenkirchen as well. We are currently on top in our group, but there are still two games to go. I think it will be exciting until the last match day, felt Hiddink, ahead of the final training in the Schalke 04 stadium.More information on the possible PSV starting line up will be published on Wednesday.
