The KNVB, the Royal Dutch Football Association, have announced the training schedule of the Dutch national team. Four friendly fixtures have been scheduled, which allows Marco van Basten and his players to prepare for the World Cup 2006 in Germany. Philips StadiumThe Dutch team meet Mexico for a friendly in the Eindhoven Philips Stadium on Thursday 1 June. Three days later they will meet the national team of Australia, coached by Guus Hiddink, in the Rotterdam Kuip. In between, on Saturday 27 May, Holland play hosts to Cameroon in the Amsterdam ArenA.The World Cup 2006 in Germany starts with the opening game Germany-Costa Rica in Munich. Holland play their first World Cup group stage game on Sunday 11 June at 15:00, when they meet Serbia & Montenegro.
