The PSV first team squad did not train at De Herdgang training ground, as the pitches were frozen. Instead the complete squad trained in the Eindhoven Philips Stadium in bleak circumstances. Cutting winds and sleet showers caused an unpleasant windchill factor. So it was not surprising that the training session was watched by only a few diehards. The technical staff made the players work really hard and a training game of football, played at a high pace, was brightened up by some fierce sliding tackles. PSV are preparing for next Sunday afternoon’s league clash, away against ADO Den Haag.
