PSV - Heracles Almelo was not a great league game. The most impressive events were the goal scored by Farfán, the debut handed to Nguyen and the serious injury that the unfortunate Quansah sustained. PSV enjoyed a 1-0 win over Heracles Almelo in the Eindhoven Philips Stadium on Saturday night, thanks to goal superbly scored from a free kick by Jefferson Farfán. The Peruvian forward has now taken his seasons tally to fifteen goals. PSV were the stronger team and created more chances, but they failed to convert their dominance into goals.19-year-old Lee Nguyen was handed his debut in the top flight on 61 minutes. Another substitute, Kwamé Quansah, was less fortunate. The Ghanese Heracles striker sustained a serious concussion, following a collision into keeper Gomes. At first it was feared he had suffered serious damage to his neck, but examination in hospital fortunately revealed the player had sustained a relatively speaking less serious injury. Below you will find some pictures taken during the game.
