The KNVB, the Royal Dutch Football Association, has appointed Ruud Bossen to officiate at the RBC- PSV game. The referee was in charge of a PSV game on two previous occasions this season. PSV will not yet be able to clinch the Dutch title on Saturday night. Bossen will be assisted by Berry Simons and Wilfred van der Pas. Earlier this season Bossen was in charge at Feyenoord-PSV (1-0) and FC Twente-PSV (0-1). PSV cannot yet celebrate having won the title on Saturday night, as nearest rivals AZ will not take on NAC Breda before Sunday afternoon. With four games to go, PSV have a nine-point lead over second placed AZ. So PSV may win the title on Sunday, if they beat RBC and AZ drop points (or if PSV draw and AZ slip to defeat)RBC Roosendaal will be relegated to the First Division, when they suffer defeat on Saturday night. They are rooted to the bottom of the table and trail Willem II, the number seventeen in the table, by eleven points. RBC have enjoyed only one victory so far this campaign, when they beat N.E.C.In this season’s reverse encounter RBC took the lead twice, but eventually PSV cruised to an emphatic 5-2 win over the Roosendaal outfit. Vennegoor of Hesselink scored three wonderful goals and Sibon and Beasley also had their names on the score sheet.Next Saturday night’s game will be kicked off at 19.30 pm.
