Over 27, 500 fans had found a seat in the Philips Stadium, when the PSV squad was presented. Later PSV played a friendly against an amateur side from the county of Brabant. They eased to a 4-0 win. New head coach Ronald Koeman led the way to the centre circle, followed by his assistants Jan Wouters and Tonny Bruins Slot amidst loud applause. Roy Beerens, who will wear the number 33 shirt, was the first player to enter the pitch and goalkeeper Gomes, with number 1, was the last one. Finally the other technical staff members and the four new signings De Bock, Moens, Da Costa and Salcido, were welcomed. After the presentation, PSV played a friendly against an amateur side with players of clubs with whom PSV co-operate. PSV enjoyed a 4-0 win, thanks to goals scored by Vennegoor of Hesselink, Simons, Koné and Farfán. It has been a very successful day.
