It has been announced what number shirt the new PSV signings have been allocated. New arrivals Patrick Kluivert and Jan Kromkamp already proudly showed their respective No 9 and No 2 shirts and the other players have also been handed their new shirts. Patrick Kluivert and Jan Kromkamp will take on the No 9 and No 2 shirts, following the moves of Vennegoor of Hesselink and Ooijer to British clubs. The Ecuadorian Edison Méndez will wear the No 11 shirt, now that DaMarcus Beasley has joined Manchester City on a loan deal. The Brazilian striker Diego Tardelli will wear shirt number 26. Méndez will arrive in Eindhoven late at night and Tardelli will first have to have all his paperwork in good order to be eligible to play football for PSV. There is a break for the international matches before PSV are next in league action. That’s why no training session for the entire squad has been scheduled for today.
