The PSV internationals will return from international duty today or tomorrow. Gomes and Alex played the full 90 minutes of the Brazil-Wales friendly last Tuesday night. They needed a win, away against Armenia, following the disappointing 0- 0 draw, at home against Kazakhstan in their first Euro 2008 qualifying game. Daniel van Buyten scored the only goal of the night on the stroke of half time. Timmy Simons was included in the starting line up of the Belgian team. He played in the heart of defence. The Red Devils continue their Euro qualifying campaign on 7 October, when they travel to Belgrade to play Serbia.Finland drawFinland, who enjoyed a 1-3 win over Poland in their opening qualifier, earned a 1-1 draw against Portugal in Helsinki last night. The Fins, who had given PSV midfielder Mika Väyrynen a place in their starting line-up, took the lead on 22 minutes, thanks to a Jonatan Johansson goal, but Nuño Gomes leveled the score just before half time. Portugal played much of the second half with ten men after defender Ricardo Costa had been dismissed for a second bookable offence.Finland, Serbia and Belgium are on top of group A, having earned four points from two games. Finland will next meet Armenia on 7 October.
