It was nine years ago that 30-year-old Boudewijn Zenden last entered the Philips Stadium pitch. The former PSV player, who has won 54 caps for his country, is very much looking forward to tonights clash. "But don't get me wrong, we won't start the game as favourites", explained Zenden. What are your feelings about tonight's game?"I'm definitely looking forward to this game, but at the same time I think its a strange feeling. Its a bit funny Ive had to wait as many as nine years to be able to enjoy this moment. Its been eight years since I left and Ive never had a chance to go back. I played eight years for PSV, four in the youth and four in the first team. I have fond memories of my spell here. When we were drawn against PSV, I immediately looked at the list of fixtures to see when we would make the trip to Eindhoven. I trained at De Herdgang training complex two seasons ago, ahead of the Euro 2004 in Portugal, but now I will be back in the stadium, at long last."Did you talk with Jan Kromkamp?"Of course I did. I talked to Jan every day. I think it is wonderful he is with PSV now. They are a good club and I can only say positive things about the people here. I told Jan about the club and how things are going on at De Herdgang." Are Liverpool favourites to win the group?"We know we are a quality side and we will always show commitment. We just never give up. Our opponents may have acted cleverly by announcing we are favourites to win the group to put up the pressure. We may be favourites, but Id rather not look at the other teams. We should focus on ourselves and try to reach our aims. Were in a hard group. PSV, Galatasaray and Bordeaux are all in there for a reason. PSV have achieved great successes the past few years. Let me put it like this: we will not underestimate any opponent and we have a mission to accomplish. We will play six games and try to earn as many points as possible."
