PSV head coach Ronald Koeman announced at the post-match press conference that his team had approached the second half in businesslike and professional fashion. "There are enough clubs that drop precious points when they face a hectic schedule, so we are happy to have finished another busy week in style.” "There is actually not much to be said about tonight’s game", started Koeman his analysis. "We put in a decent first-half performance during which we could make the difference. When we had doubled our advantage on the stroke of half time, we knew we had wrapped up the game. We approached the second half in businesslike and professional fashion and added a third goal in injury time. There are enough clubs that drop precious points when they face a hectic schedule, so we should not be too worried about our poor second-half display. I am happy we have concluded another busy week in style”, said Koeman. Ernie Brandts"I think a great many coaches will have similar problems when they face PSV", claimed former PSV player and assistant coach Ernie Brandts. "How on earth can we earn one point, let alone three points? You are bound to be beaten here nine times out of ten. You may pull off a result here, provided you are in great shape. We also had our moments tonight. But we sloppily gave away goals. And we knew that once we were trailing here in Eindhoven, we would find it hard to bounce back. We tried to make it a more physical game after the break, but we never threatened. PSV eased to victory. It’s as simple as that”, concluded Brandts.
