PSV head coach Ronald Koeman has reshuffled his team for tonight’s Dutch Cup quarter final tie with NAC Breda. First-team regulars Timmy Simons, Phillip Cocu and Arouna Koné start on the bench, with Manuel da Costa, Mika Väyrynen and Diego Tardelli deputizing for them. Alcides fills in at right back for Jan Kromkamp who is sidelined due to an injury.
Alex will be wearing the captain’s armband tonight. Koeman has made most changes to his midfield, with Cocu and Simons starting on the bench. Michael Reiziger and Patrick Kluivert are also ruled out of tonight’s cup tie. Kluivert has not recovered from a back problem that he sustained during a training session on the artificial pitch in Almelo, ahead of the league game against Heracles. NAC Breda - PSV kicks off at 20.45. Ernie Brandts, a former PSV player as well as assistant coach, is head coach of NAC Breda.
