The day after PSV suffered a painful 3-0 defeat against NAC Breda, they started preparing for the Eredivisie game against RKC Waalwijk, another team from the county of Brabant. Mark Wotte’s team, who surprisingly reached the Dutch Cup semi final, will make the trip to Eindhoven on Saturday night.
The players did some cooling down exercises at the Thursday morning training session under tempestuous circumstances. There were not many fans to see the players in action, ahead of Saturday night’s game that kicks off at 19.30. Relegation-threatened RKC have moved out of the drop zone after last Sunday’s 3-1 win over Vitesse. Patrick Kluivert trained individually, but John de Jong has joined his team mates for full training. PSV train only two times ahead of Saturday’s game, after which they will focus exclusively on the Champions League clash with Arsenal.
