PSV have injury concerns ahead of their of Champions League game against Arsenal. <L CODE="C01">Jan Kromkamp</L> and <L CODE="C02">Manuel da Costa</L> are not fit enough to start Wednesday night’s game, so <L CODE="C03">Dirk Marcellis</L> is been called up to the PSV squad to fill in for them.
Jan Kromkamp sustained a hamstring injury during last Saturday’s Eredivisie game against RKC Waalwijk. A scan did not reveal any visible abnormalities, but the PSV medical and technical staffs do not want to take any risks. Da Costa was already ruled out of last Saturday’s game with flu and he has not recovered sufficiently yet. Michael Reiziger as well as Patrick Kluivert join Kromkamp and Da Costa on the injury list, so Ronald Koeman has added Young PSV defender Dirk Marcellis to the squad. PSV will take off from Eindhoven Airport on Tuesday morning.
