Koeman hopes to welcome a full squad back next week (PSV.nl)

A depleted squad reported for training on the third day of the pre-season campaign. PSV hope to welcome <L CODE="C01">Arouna Koné</L> back to De Herdgang on Thursday and a near-full strength squad is expected to take part in the training camp in Oisterwijk next Monday.
PSV’s head coach Ronald Koeman hopes to have a full senior squad of PSV players available at the start of the second week of pre-season training. <L CODE="C02">Jefferson Farfán</L> will be one of them. The Peruvian sustained an ankle injury during the Copa América and will fly straight from Venezuela to Holland. <L CODE="C03">Ismail Aissati</L>, <L CODE="C04">Otman Bakkal</L>, <L CODE="C05">Manuel Da Costa</L>, <L CODE="C06">Lee Nguyen</L> and <L CODE="C07">Carlos Salcido</L> will also join the squad for pre-season training next week. <L CODE="C09">Edison Méndez</L> is not expected to report for training before next week Thursday. The midfielder, who made appearances for Ecuador during the Copa América, will have to do some paperwork in order to obtain official documents before he returns to Holland. The other expected absentee is <L CODE="C08">Jason Culina</L> who is away on international duty with Australia for the Asia Cup.
