Kenneth Perez resumed full training with the PSV first-team squad yesterday. The forward, who joined PSV from Ajax during the summer, sustained a knee injury three weeks ago. The Dane told PSV TV that he expects to shrug off his knee problem this week and lead PSV's attack in their first home game of the season.

“I still feel a lack of strength, but it was great to resume training. We fired a great many shots on target and that's one of the exercises I like best of all.” The Dane expects he will be fit and ready to face N.E.C. on Saturday night. “I hope to be given my first taste of Eredivisie football this season, when we take on N.E.C. at the Philips Stadium”, said Perez, who feels he has settled in nicely in Eindhoven. “It takes some time to get used to the new surroundings, but now I feel it is great to experience the pre-match tension with my new team mates.”
