23-year-old Arouna Koné has become a proud father with his wife giving birth to a baby boy called Amidou Koné. The Ivory Coast striker has informed PSV he is absolutely delighted that mother and baby are doing well. PSV Media and the entire PSV organization are delighted for the family and send many congratulations and best wishes.
Koné, who joined PSV in 2005, welcomes the good news. The young father was suffering from a bout of malaria the other day that had hit him very hard. He spent some time in hospital to recover. Last weekend Koné played for almost the full ninety minutes as his side enjoyed a 2-0 win over Heracles Almelo, after which he joined his wife.
