The draw for the first knock-out stages of the UEFA Champions League has just taken place at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon. The result is that PSV have been paired with the French club AS Monaco.Players and coaching staff watched the draw live at the training ground De Herdgang. Most of them referred to the draw as not unfavourable. The draw has resulted into some top clashes: Thus FC Barcelona will meet Chelsea FC and Real Madrid will play hosts to Juventus. PSV met AS Monaco last year in the UEFA Champions League group phase. The French team reached the final, in which they were beaten by FC Porto.
