PSV beat Young PSV 2-0 in practice match (PSV.nl)

The PSV first-team squad played a practise match against Young PSV at De Herdgang sports centre on Thursday morning, before they went home to enjoy a long weekend. Ronald Koeman's team earned a 2-0 win in a game of two halves of forty minutes, thanks to goals from Koevermans and Perez.

A long weekend

The first-team players that had not gone off on international duty took on a Young PSV side, coached by Edward Sturing and Jurgen Dirkx. Koevermans and Perez scored second-half goals in PSV's 2-0 win. 19-year-old Rumanian attacking midfielder Andrei Ionescu, who had been on trial in Eindhoven before, made an appearance for Young PSV. The players will enjoy their long weekend, before they resume training on Monday morning.
