The PSV first team squad trained on Tuesday morning for the last time ahead of their opening Group G fixture of the Champions League 2007-08 campaign. Ibrahim Afellay and Ismail Aissati did not join their colleagues for full training. The two youngsters, who respect the obligation to fast during Ramadan, restricted themselves to some running.
Jefferson Farfán has returned to full fitness, but Mike Zonneveld will serve a suspension, so PSV head coach Ronald Koeman has some selection problems. The players first warmed up, before they started to play a game in which they took turns throwing the ball to each other. The main focus at training was on finishing clinically. The coaching staff and squad will stay in Oisterwijk today and tomorrow in order to thoroughly prepare for tomorrow night's game.
