Otman Bakkal, Aissati and Alcides all miss Wednesday night's cup tie against Young Heerenveen through injuries. PSV head coach Ronald Koeman does not want to take any risks with Bakkal, who is shaking off a knee problem, and would rather see him in action again this weekend. Aissati and Alcides have sustained a knee injury and will go to hospital on Tuesday for examination.

“We are not willing to take any unnecessary risks with Bakkal; we hope he will be fit enough to play on Saturday”, said Koeman. Bakkal was ruled out of contention for the matches with CSKA Moscow and Feyenoord. “I prefer to call up him for the squad to face NAC Breda and Inter, provided he will resume full training on Thursday.” Aissati and Alcides both suffer a recurrence of their knee injuries and will go to hospital on Tuesday for examination.
Dirk Marcellis and Gnero Zeefuik will deputize for them. Slobodan Rajokovic will return to Eindhoven at the end of this week. The defender, on loan from Chelsea, is in London with his club for treatment on his back problem. The Serb will hopefully soon join the PSV first-team squad for full training.
