The PSV coaching staff will train with only a depleted squad at De Herdgang sports centre this week, after ten squad members have gone away on international duty to represent their country.
Addo, Da Costa, Rajkovic
Eric Addo was still in Eindhoven today, but he will leave later this week. African Nations Cup finals hosts Ghana are to play a friendly against Jamaica in London on 14 October. Da Costa was called up to the Portugal squad for their Group A qualifiers against Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan on 13 and 17 October, but the defender has sustained an injury and will stay in Eindhoven to rehabilitate. Slobodan Rajkovic will not travel with the Serbia Under-21 squad, as he is recovering from an injury.

Salcido, Méndez, Farfán
Carlos Salcido has left for Mexico. The defender has been included in the squad for Mexico's friendly against Nigeria on Saturday 13 October and will then make the trip to the east of the United States, where Mexico take on Guatemala in Boston. Although Edison Méndez has picked up an ankle injury, he has received a call-up to the Ecuador squad for World Cup qualifiers against Venezuela in Quito on Saturday 13 October and Brazil four days later. PSV's Peruvian striker Jefferson Farfán will also be away for ten days. Peru play host to Paraguay on Saturday and will meet Chili in Santiago on Wednesday.
Perez, Simons, Väyrynen, Lazovic
Kenneth Perez has been recalled to the Denmark squad for the Euro 2008 qualifiers against Spain in Aarhus on Saturday and against Latvia at the Stadium Parken in Copenhagen on Wednesday, after making himself available once again to coach Morten Olsen.
Timmy Simons will make the short trip to Brussels, where Belgium play two Euro 2008 qualifying games. The Belgians first play host to Finland, who have called up Mika Väyrynen, on Saturday before they entertain Armenia four days later.
Danko Lazovic has been named in a 19-man Serbia squad for the Euro 2008 Group A qualifying games against Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Marcellis, Bakkal
No PSV players will represent the Netherlands in Wednesday's Euro 2008 qualifier against Slovenia at Philips Stadion, but Dirk Marcellis has been called up to the Holland Under-21 squad to face Estonia. Marcellis has also received an invitation to make an appearance for the Dutch Olympic team, along with Otman Bakkal, against Scotland.
All in all, ten PSV players will be away on international duty. The remaining first-team squad members and some Young PSV and junior players will meet Belgian First Division side KV Mechelen in a friendly on Thursday. They will have a long weekend off, before they report back for training to prepare for the domestic league game against VVV-Venlo on 20 October and the UEFA Cup group stage game against Fenerbahçe at the Philips Stadium on 23 October.
