Ronald Koeman wants PSV to play attacking football, when they take on Sparta Rotterdam at 14:30. Jefferson Farfán, Danny Koevermans, Danko Lazovic, Kenneth Perez and Otman Bakkal all start against Sparta Rotterdam.
PSV could go top of the table this afternoon, following Feyenoord's 2-0 defeat at FC Twente on Saturday night. Ronald Koeman again opts for Dirk Marcellis at the expense of Eric Addo, who drops to the bench. Marcellis partners Carlos Salcido at the heart of defence, while Edison Méndez starts on the bench on Sunday afternoon. Making a return to familiar surroundings will be striker Danny Koevermans, who meets the club he left three seasons ago.
Sparta last beat PSV at home on 3 November 2001. They enjoyed a 2-1 victory against PSV, with Koevermans scoring the winning goal, after Mateja Kezman had opened the scoring and Aron Winter had leveled things for the hosts.
