PSV caretaker coach Jan Wouters received a welcome boost on the injury front as holding midfielder Timmy Simons is set for a return on Saturday. The Belgium international trained with the squad on Friday morning and is available for Saturday's Eredivisie clash with De Graafschap at De Vijverberg. Jan Wouters has no selection worries; he has a near full-strength squad to select from for the trip to Doetinchem.
'I have shaken off my back problem. I am match fit, although I have some muscle pain, but nothing to worry about. I am available', told Timmy Simons PSV TV after the training session. It was a welcome injury boost for the caretaker coach who has a near full-strength squad at his disposal. John de Jong, Tommie van der Leegte and Manuel da Costa all remain sidelined with long-term injuries. Newly promoted De Graafschap are having a great run and lie tenth in the standings, just two points behind fourth placed sc Heerenveen.
