Jan Kromkamp will undergo keyhole surgery on his knee at the St. Anna Hospital in Geldrop on Monday. The PSV defender has been troubled by a knee problem for some time. Kromkamp is able to train and play games in spite of his injury, but when he runs he never feels pain free. He will be told on Tuesday how much time he will be forced to spend on the sidelines. The right back is not included in the eighteen-man squad to face De Graafschap at De Vijverberg in Doetinchem tonight.
PSV caretaker coach Jan Wouters has almost a full squad to choose from. PSV will be without Kromkamp, Manuel Da Costa, John de Jong and Tommie van der Leegte, who are all injured, but captain Timmy Simons is available again, after he had been ruled out for the games with Excelsior and CSKA Moscow because of a back problem.
