PSV goalkeeper Heurelho da Silva Gomes has signed a contract extension that will keep him at the club until 2013, following a constructive and positive meeting with the PSV board last night.
Earlier this month, captain Timmy Simons, defender Carlos Salcido and midfielder Ibrahim Afellay committed their future to the Philips Stadium.
PSV is delighted to have extended the contract with Gomes, who is in his fourth season at PSV. His previous deal was due to expire in 2011. The club wants to wish a clear signal of their ambitions for the future, by securing the services of several of their key players.
