PSV have reached agreement with Debreceni VSC about the immediate transfer of the Hungarian international Balázs Dzsudzsák to PSV. The 21-year-old attacking midfielder was originally due to join PSV in summer, but following the departure of Kenneth Perez to Ajax, PSV were eager to complete the deal during the January transfer window.
Dzsudzsák, born in Nyirlugos on 23 December 1986, is 1.79 metres tall. He is a highly rated versatile player whose best position is as on the left wing as an attacking midfielder. He is a left footed-player and has a powerful shot. Debreceni VSC won the Hungarian title three successive times and they also lifted the Hungarian Super Cup three times. Dzsudzsák will sign a four-and-a-half year contract with PSV on Monday before he joins his new team mates at De Herdgang training centre for the first training session in the new year. 'We are delighted to have secured the services of such a quality player' said PSV technical director Stan Valckx when the Hungarian was in Eindhoven in October. 'Balázs Dzsudzsák is a great young Hungarian talent and will be a good acquisition to the squad.'
