The PSV first team squad will train on Tuesday morning at De Herdgang before they make the trip to Genk across the border in Belgium where they organise a three-day training camp. PSV play a friendly against Fortuna Sittard on Tuesday night, after which new coach Sef Vergoossen and his assistants Dwight Lodeweges and Jan Wouters begin gearing the side up for the league action against fellow Eredivisie leaders Feyenoord at the Rotterdam Kuip on Saturday 12 January. Sef Vergoossen conducted a media briefing in the afternoon, maintaining that this squad is strong enough to retain the title. 'We will work hard the next few days and use time effectively in order to prepare thoroughly for Saturday's clash with Feyenoord', concluded Vergoossen.
