Divided into three groups, the players of the PSV first-team squad went through all the routine drills on Friday morning, as they prepared for Saturday's Eredivisie clash with bottom-of-the-table Excelsior at the Philips Stadium, kicking off at 19:30. Tommie van der Leegte and John de Jong have resumed training.

De Jong and Van der Leegte joined their team mates for full training, including all aspects of finishing play. Otman Bakkal trained separately from the squad, while Danny Koevermans, who scored the opening goal in Young PSV's 3-0 win over sc Heerenveen last night, was allowed to make an early exit from the session.
PSV did not train behind closed doors on Friday morning and so many fans and media representatives had come to De Herdgang training centre to watch the players train. Later this afternoon, PSV head coach Sef Vergoossen will hold the weekly media briefing.
