PSV are going to organize a training camp in the United Arabic Emirates and as the word already suggests the training camp will mainly consist of training sessions. Only one friendly game has been scheduled so far. Negotiations for a second friendly are still going on.PSV will face FC Krylya Sovetov Samara for a friendly in the Al Jazeera Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Friday 14 January. PSV met this team from Russia last year as well for a friendly in the mid-winter break. A young PSV side, who had fielded only Ji-Sung Park, Theo Lucius and Johann Vogel as regular players, slipped to a 2-3 defeat. Tim Janssen and Johan Vonlanthen netted the goals for the Eindhoven team.Ibrahim Afellay has withdrawn from the trip with the squad of the Dutch national team Under 19 to Mexico. A great many countries have cancelled the trip and therefore PSV have decided to invite the youngster for their training camp. Hiddink announced that many youth players would join the squad on their travels to the Middle East. Some 20 to 25 players will take part. The final squad will be named on Friday.
