Young PSV earned a hard-fought 3-1 victory against N.E.C. in Nijmegen on Monday night. Anton Janssen's men will meet N.E.C again in the Cup final in Waalwijk on Monday 28 April. Eric Addo made a return after having recovered from a hamstring injury. The Ghana international defender played 45 minutes.
Young N.E.C. were the better side, but conceded their goals too easily. The visitors took the lead when Patrick Pothuizen, who stepped off the bench on Sunday afternoon to score a double in N.E.C.'s 4-2 win over Sparta Rotterdam, netted an unfortunate own goal. After the break, Stijn Wuytens doubled Young PSV's advantage, before Tshibamba reduced the deficit for the hosts. The Brazilian Jonathan added a third to wrap up the points. Young PSV moved into fifth place, following Monday night's win.
