Sef Vergoossen is forced to make two changes to the PSV side that drew 1-1 with Fiorentina at the Stadio Artemio Franchi in Florence last week, when his side take on the Italians at the Philips Stadium on Thursday night at 20:45 for a place in the UEFA Cup semi-finals. Balázs Dzsudzsák replaces Ibrahim Afellay, who has sustained an ankle injury, while Otman Bakkal fills in for the suspended Jefferson Farfán.

Ismail Aissati has been withdrawn from the squad, as the young midfielder has not been able to shake off an ankle problem. Género Zeefuik has been added to the squad. The young talented striker starts on the bench for the second time this season, after he had been included in the squad to face CSKA Moscow in the second round of the UEFA Champions League group stage campaign. Edison Méndez retains his place in midfield, along with Jason Culina. Slobodan Rajkovic plays at left back. PSV start with Danny Koevermans as lone striker, with Otman Bakkal and Balázs Dzsudzsák seeking to provide support from the flanks.

PSV starting line-up:
Gomes, Kromkamp, Marcellis, Salcido, Rajkovic, Simons, Méndez, Culina, Dzsudzsák, Bakkal and Koevermans.
Substitutions: Roorda, Zonneveld, Väyrynen, Lazovic, Alcides, Addo and Zeefuik.
