Three former PSV players clinched national titles with their clubs last weekend. Mark van Bommel's FC Bayern München secured their 21st German Bundesliga title with a goalless draw at Vlf Wolfsburg. Real Madrid, with their strikers Arjen Robben and Ruud van Nistelrooy, were crowned champions of Spain. Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink's Celtic still have a chance of retaining the Scottish title.

Bayern München certainly lived up to their reputation as Rekordmeister. With only three games left, they have an unassailable 10-point lead over runners-up Werder Bremen. Bayern recorded a 0-0 draw at VfL Wolfsburg. Bayern were solid in defence all season and kept sixteen clean sheets. They survived a scary moment in the closing stages, when Grafite started a clever solo run, but his finish was poor. Mark van Bommel won his third Bundesliga title with FC Bayern München in four years. All in all, he won six national championships, after he clinched the Eredivisie title with PSV in 2005 and was crowned champion of Spain with Barcelona twice.
Real Madrid supporters will be dancing around the Cibeles fountain tonight, after ten-man Real Madrid scored two late goals to defeat Osasuna 2-1 and clinch the Primera División title. Real Madrid were reduced to ten men straight after the break, when Fabio Cannavaro was sent off for a second bookable offence. Real Madrid looked to be heading for defeat, when Francisco Puñal scored a penalty after 83 minutes, but former PSV winger Arjen Robben netted the equaliser with a glancing header three minutes from time and substitute Gonzalo Higuaín scored the winning goal for Real in the dying minute. Real can go into Wednesday's home match at Bernabéu with arch rivals Barcelona in relaxed mood. Van Nistelrooy missed the past few games through injury, but started on the bench in Pamplona. Van Gol played a major role in winning the Spanish title, scoring 12 goals in 21 matches. Arjen Robben made 20 appearances and scored four goals.
