Young PSV went down to their fifth defeat in a row on Monday night. After winning the KNVB Cup for reserves in Waalwijk only last week, Anton Janssen and his men slipped to a 2-1 defeat at home against Young ADO Den Haag. Olivier ter Horst scored the only goal for PSV.

The hosts, who were without the players that had made the trip with the first team to Greece, found themselves trailing 1-0 after nine minutes, when Frank van Hiel opened the scoring. Ten minutes later, Olivier ter Horst leveled things up. Just when the game looked to be heading for a draw, relegation-threatened ADO grabbed all three points. The referee pointed to the spot; the penalty was saved but Rico Kogeldans pounced on the rebound; 1-2.

Young PSV currently lie third, following yet another defeat. They have two more league games to go. They will be next in action on Tuesday 13 May when they take on AZ in Alkmaar, while they hope to give their season a good ending at home against Young Vitesse six days later. Young FC Twente were crowned champions of their league last night, following a 2-1 victory at Sparta Rotterdam.
