PSV MEDIA â€' The brothers Stijn and Dries Wuytens from Belgium have put pen to paper on new long-term contracts at PSV. New head coach Huub Stevens will include 18-year-old Stijn in the senior first-team squad, while his younger brother Dries, who is 17 years old, will compete at the highest youth levels.
Joined PSV in 2001
Both midfielder Stijn (8 October 1989) and defender Dries (18 March 1991) joined PSV in 2001. Stijn made appearances for the D1 junior team, while his brother Dries played for the D3 juniors. The brothers hail from Eksel in Belgium and joined PSV from KRC Genk. Heracles Almelo defender, who came through the youth set-up at PSV, is a relative of the brothers. Stijn signed a four-year contract at the Philips Stadium on Thursday afternoon in the presence of PSV's General Manager Jan Reker, manager Ron Verkerk and his father. PSV completed a three-year deal with Dries Wuytens.
